We all know that we share the area at Eb's Trails with many wild animals, big and small. Some are predators. Most of the animals are shy of people. A lot of them are somewhat nocturnal so we see only their print marks in the snow. We must be respectful of these forest creatures, but also we should be vigilant. The trails are not patrolled so you use them at your own risk. For many safety reasons, it is best not to ski alone especially when skiing in areas further out from the huts. If you are on the trails, using headlamps after sunset, be extra cautious.
