SUMMARY:Douglas Provincial Park and Sand Dunes
DESCRIPTION:There are 4 hikes schedule for this spring: Douglas Provincial Park near Elbow\, Eagle Hills near Asquith\, Little Red near Prince Albert and Transcanada Trail near Elbow. We will try something new this spring. We will do a hike on Saturday during the Mother’s Day weekend. We usually hike about 10-12 km\, with rest stop for water and lunch. We meet usually at 9h45 am at different locations\, according to which direction we are heading. The arrival time in Saskatoon is about 5h-6h pm. \nHikers should be member of the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club. Newcomers may attend one “free” hike to check out the club\, before signing up. Bring a lunch\, lots of water\, wear clothing according to the weather\, a sit-upon and wear sturdy shoes. The weather and terrain can vary\, throughout the day. Up-to-date information is posted on the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club website calendar\, and the SNSCTouring@groups.io. \n*We do carpool\, we pay $15 per person\, for gaz.\, an increase from previous years. \n*Let the leader know that you are coming. \n*You can always post additional hiking tour if you are a member of the SNSCTouring@groups.io.
